Precision Studio Equipment provides premium grip and rigging rentals with a focus on efficiency, safety, and execution. Built by industry veterans, PSE supports productions with equipment and insight that reduce friction, eliminate guesswork, and keep crews moving.
Precision Studio Equipment was founded in 2015 by Steve Paquette and Brendon Malone, two seasoned grips who saw an opportunity to improve how equipment was delivered, organized, and supported on set.
Starting with their first trailers, PSE has grown into a full-scale operation featuring:
• Six grip and rigging trailers
• Two Sprinter vans for tight locations and quick company moves
• Major warehouse space
• A premium inventory, including ModTruss systems and Chapman Leonard dollies
While the company has grown, the focus has stayed the same: clean gear, smart organization, and efficient execution.
Our mission is to raise the standard for grip and rigging rentals by combining top-tier equipment with real on-set expertise.

Steve Paquette, Co-Owner
With over 20 years as a grip, Steve began his career as a best boy on major features before advancing to key rigging grip and key grip. Known throughout the industry for being exceptionally organized, Steve sets the standard for how PSE prepares and delivers equipment.
Brendon Malone, Co-Owner
Brendon brings 25 years of experience as a grip, starting as a dolly grip on major features before becoming a key grip. His deep understanding of camera movement and complex rigging informs every rental, layout, and recommendation PSE provides.
Together, Steve and Brendon lead PSE with a hands-on, experience-driven approach.
